The general store has a long glass display cabinet with items displayed within and an employee working behind the counter. Shelves of merchandise are along the left wall, atop which are plied suitcases and blankets and near which stands Mollie McCormick (far left, white dress) and several other women. On the right wall are cabinets with rolls of paper above, as well as denser shelves in the back and a mannequin closer to the front of the store (far right).
