Postcard from [Emil] to Mr. and Mrs. Gammenthaler. The front has a photograph of a man leaning against a tent in Battle Creek. The tent has a screen door and a frame beneath a layer of tarp. Behind the tent are trees and to the left of it is a small building. [Emil] wrote a brief correspondence to the Gammenthalers to tell them where he was headed and small updates.

[The Burton Memorial Tower]

Photograph of the Burton Memorial Tower at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. The tower is located on the right side of the image and has a clock face on the front with tapered tiers above the face. To the left is a building that is shorter than the tower and that has a flat roof and pillars lining the facade. The two structures are surrounded by a paved area with short walls, and there are trees with no leaves scattered around this area.

Photograph of Byrd Williams III walking outside of the University of Michigan Museum of Natural History in Ann Arbor. He is walking on the sidewalk outside of the building and there are bushes, benches, and a tree in between this sidewalk and the grass in the foreground of the image. The building is made of stone and has glass double doors that have a metal grid overlay. These doors are bordered by an ornately carved stone frame that is topped with a crest. Above these doors are more windows and the building has ivy on it.
