[Mechanized Vehicle]

Photograph of a U.S. Army mechanized vehicle. An early version of an unidentified armored plated vehicle moves along a street heading north - the Franklin Mountain are in the background. Many armored vehicles made their debut during the Mexican Revolution. Perhaps the Chihuahuan desert was used as a testing ground since many of these same vehicles were later used in mass quantities during WWI.

[U.S. Cavalry Unit]

Photograph of a U.S. Cavalry unit. This Cavalry unit is parading somewhere in El Paso, Texas. The riders are riding along in columns of five and are being lead by a squad leader who most likely would have been a corporal or a sergeant. Just beyond the Cavalry unit and dust is the U.S. Army band. The Army band is also on horseback and can be seen playing their band instruments.
