When he tried to take the show on tour, despite the presence of his daughter, Lucille, "the First Cowgirl," he went broke. The 101 Ranch Real Wild West" was in a sense Pawnee Bill's successor. The 101 Ranch, started by Confederate Col. George Washington Miller, reached its greatest heights under his three sons, Joe, Zach, and George."
