Recording of Jesús Torres' Himno a las lesbianas. This is an electroacoustic work that includes sound objects of the same type (news, voices, groans, etc.). These sounds create a collage that shows a distorted view of humor in a cumulative and destructive series. This series is linked to Schwitters' Dadaism, the notion of surrealist chance and the desire to dissolve the border between art and life. Overall, it represents the aesthetic of negation.

Recording of Alcides Lanza's ...There Is a Way to Sing It... This piece uses extensively the voice of actress-singer Meg Sheppard, reciting, singing, and improvising on "Power Songs", a poem by the Canadian poet Norbert Ruebsaat. The piece used the following equipment was used: Mac SE, Akai S900, Yamaha digital synthesizers TX81Z and DX5, Lexicon LXP l, Revox TRs, Casio DAT recorder, Sennheisser 421 mikes, software by Opcode [DX edit. Libr.], Sound Designer (Akai), Master Tracks Pro (sequencing). ...There Is a Way to Sing It... was realized with a grant from the Canada Council for the Arts at the request of David Olds, CKLN radio, Toronto. Created at the SHELAN studios, Montreal.

Prince prospero's

Recording of Natasha Barrett's Prince prospero's. The composer describes this piece as a "sonification" of Edgar Allan Poe's short story 'The Mask of the Red Death'. The music follows closely to the events and evocations found within the text and includes samples of "Danse Macabre" by Camille Saint-Saëns. Although the story follows a path of inevitable doom and gloom, it has the capacity to evoke amazingly surreal, multi-faceted space within which the drama is placed. This work was commissioned by the 3rd Practice Music Festival and the Molden Centre for the Arts, Richmond, USA.

Landmine

Naufragi

Recording of Ivana Busu's Naufragi. This work was created to pay tribute to an example of 80s pop music: Message in a Bottle by The Police. This composition is separated into five sections, each of which have their own theme. The first section focuses on radio, the second represents a natural desert island, the third represents the state of mind of a castaway, the fourth theme is purely musical, and the fifth brings all of the previous themes together.

Recording of Marco Marinoni's Of Shape and Action 2 - The Dying of the Light. This is a work for electronics that premiered at the Synthése Festival 2003 in Bourges, France. The underlying material of this composition is the poetry of Dylan Thomas which itself is imbued with death and a call to heroism. The first draft of this piece was finished in 2002 and lasted 1'48"; later on those materials were furthered processed to create the current version.
