Interview with David Braden, an Army Air Force WWII veteran from Dallas, Texas. Braden served as a navigator/radar-bombardier on a B-29 Superfortress in the Pacific; he recounts being in ROTC at North Texas Agricultural College and signing up for the Air Corps Reserves, flight training, the B-29, his crewmates, assignment to Saipan, organization of a bombing mission, the jetstream, flak and fighters, being shot down, switching crews, targets, briefings, recreation, Japanese holdouts on Saipan, fighter escorts, returning stateside, and leaving the service. In appendix is a letter sent to Dr. Marcello by Braden containing some corrections for the interview.

Interview with Joseph Vivian concerning his experiences before, during, and after his employment in the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Great Depression. Vivian worked at a camp in Ratcliff, Texas (Company 1803).

Interview with R.A. Wolfe concerning his experiences during and after his employment in the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Great Depression. Wolfe worked at camps in Waxahachie, Texas (Company 878) and Dallas, Texas (Company 2896).

Interview with Willa Mae Bateman concerning her recollections of the Crater of Diamonds and diamond mining growing up in Murfreesboro, Arkansas.

Interview with John Bateman concerning his recollections of the Crater of Diamonds and diamond mining near Murfreesboro, Arkansas from 1930 to 1950. Appendix includes 2 maps: a "Geologic Map of the Prairie Creek Area of Peridotite in T. 8 S., R. 25 W., 2 1/2 Miles South-Southeast of Murfreesboro, Pike County, Ark." and a map showing the locations of various landmarks in the Crater of Diamonds State Park area.
