Interview with Naomi Rudelson, a former department store executive from New Orleans, Louisiana. Rudelson discusses involvement with the fashion industry in Dallas, starting with work as an assistant to a personal shopper and eventually becoming vice president of several different department stores. Rudelson also describes designing a curriculum for students at the University of North Texas, and the work environment at Dalton's department store, Sanger-Harris, Winkleman's in Detroit, and May Company Los Angeles.

Taniguchi discusses his family and childhood, experiences of racism, the attack on Pearl Harbor and its effects, having his home raided by the FBI, his father's detention and that of Japanese community leaders, preparing for internment, moving to the Gila Relocation Camp in Arizona, life there, leaving the camp for resettlement in Detroit, and life afterwards.

Vogt discusses his initial work with Kaiser Permanente, the origins of the Kai-Pru venture and why it was established in the Texas market, the benefits and downside for each company, the Dallas healthcare market, the Dallas medical community, healthcare plan models, cost control, and the end of Kai-Pru.

This case profiles the University Musical Society (UMS), a performing arts presenter based at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Throughout its history, UMS has programmed uncommon and contemporary works of many kinds. In 2011, these efforts took a significant step forward with the launch of Renegade, performances that feature provocative artistic works. The case traces the development of Renegade, detailing its genesis, programming process, and marketing tactics.

Interview with Marjorie Rae Lutkins Babcock, Women's Army Corps Enlisted, Keypunch Operator, and Korean War-ere Veteran, for the Women Veterans Oral History Project. The interview includes Babcock's personal experiences of childhood in Michigan, basic training at Fort Lee, Virginia, duty assignments at Governor's Island, New York and Hanau, Germany, her temporary duty assignment at the Pentagon, her placement in the Veterans of Foreign War's Women's Auxiliary despite veteran status, and her brother's experience in the Merchant Marines during World War II. Additionally, the interview includes her reason for enlisting, her family's reaction to her enlistment, impressions of post-war Germany, advice for future women service members, her views on service and women in combat, and her daughter's views of the military and the military service of her mom and other family members. The interview includes an appendix with photographs and a list detailing Babcock's military career.
