Interview with banker and Navy veteran Bennie G. Snider. The interview includes Snider's personal experiences about the Pacific Theater during World War II, youth and education in Denton, Texas, joining the Navy, and boot training and electrical engineering school. Snider talks about duties aboard the USS Hancock, his assignment to Task Group 58 and the invasion of the Philippines, as well as the invasions of Iwo Jima and Okinawa, kamikaze attacks and the Hancock being hit by a kamikaze, burials at sea, and his postwar duties aboard the Hancock as part of Operation MAGIC CARPET.

Interview with Joseph Sudduth, a Marine Corps veteran, concerning his experiences at the Marine Barracks between Pearl Harbor and Hickam Field with B Company during the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Interview also covers his life before, during, and after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Includes an appendix.

Interview with Joy Burkhard, a mother and founder/executive director of the nonprofit organization 2020 Mom, soon to be renamed the Policy Center for Maternal Mental Health, from Valencia, California. Burkhard discusses work in the health delivery system, her own experience with motherhood, Postpartum Support International, founding her organization, maternal mental health disorders, Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, and the importance of access to child care and support.

Interview with Dr. Brenda Major, a psychologist from Truckee, California. Major discusses her background, education, the influence of the women's movement, attribution theory, abortion psychology, traumatic post-abortion syndrome, and research on postpartum depression and other mental illnesses related to pregnancy.

Interview with Dr. Barbara L. Parry, a psychiatrist from La Jolla, California. Parry discusses premenstrual psychosis, light treatment and circadian rhythms, the DSM, postpartum depression, postpartum psychosis, treatments, medications, the impact of politics, and grants.

Interview with Exie Jean Alaman Morne'y, a teacher from Fort Worth, Texas, who lived during the end of the Jim Crow era. Morne'y discusses her family background, attending grade school in Fort Worth, experiences with segregation and discrimination in the 1950s and 60s, attending North Texas State College, working at Parkland Hospital, her marriages and children, moving to California and back to Texas, her career with Fort Worth ISD, church activities and faith, thoughts on child education, and various related stories. In appendix are photos of her high school yearbook and her family, a petition from the Como neighborhood for utilities services in 1924, and her typed family history.
