Interview with Jose Gonzalez, an anesthetist and Army veteran of the Vietnam War. In the interview, Gonzalez describes his experiences while serving as an Army nurse in Vietnam. Gonzalez discusses what life was like during his assignment to the 24th Evacuation Hospital, and includes details concerning relationships between doctors and nurses, morale, American relations with Vietnamese civilians, recreational activities, entertainment, and his Bronze Star award. He also recalls the adjustments that both he and many of his comrades dealt with post-Vietnam, and shares his attitudes toward the war.

Interview with William E. Moore Jr., a Army WWII veteran from Temple, Texas, who was present at the attack on Pearl Harbor. Moore discusses his time in the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M, assignment to 24th Division Artillery at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, training and alerts, the attack at Wheeler Field and taking defensive positions around Oahu, and service afterwards.

The interview includes Fields' personal experiences about attending the Texas International Pop Festival in Lewisville, Texas, early youth in rural Texas, and transferring high schools. Fields also talks about attendance at the "Big D Jamboree," the effects of his parent's divorce and influence of his young stepmother's interest in current music, student challenges to authority at North Texas Mesquite High School, rock 'n roll music of the Sixties, the influence of the radio station KZEW, attending the festival accompanied by his brother, sister, and father, observing the festival from outside the grounds, and the significance of the festival.

Interview with Debbie Denmon, local news media personality and third-generation descendant of residents of Quakertown, as part of the Quakertown Oral History Project. The interview includes Denmon's personal experiences about childhood and education in Denton, having a career in broadcast journalism, and reporting on local efforts to capture Quakertown history. Denmon also speaks about memories of her great-grandmother Othella Hill, great-grandfather "Dollar Bill" Hill, and grandmother Norvell Williams Reed.

Interview with David Braden, architect and Army Air Forces veteran. In the interview, Braden speaks about his impressions of General Curtis LeMay in the Pacific Theater during World War II, his assignment to Saipan, Mariana Islands, for bombing operations against the Japanese homeland, LeMay's arrival in the Marianas and changes in bombing techniques, the thirty-five mission limitation and improvement in aircrew morale, his functions as a B-29 navigator, LeMay's decision to conduct incendiary night rights at 5,000 feet, the strategic importance of Iwo Jima for bomber crews, and his assessment of how LeMay's policies made a decided difference in ending the war.

Interview with Alan Lee Briscoe, NASA engineer and manager, as part of the Skylab Oral History Project. The interview includes Aaron's personal experiences about childhood and education, having a career with NASA in mission control, space shuttle and software development, and International Space Station programs. Aaron speaks about his duties on various missions, Skylab's importance to NASA and space exploration, and his perceptions of NASA's working and management culture. The interview includes an appendix with photographs.

Interview with Murphy Daniels, African-American alumnus of North Texas State University. The interview includes Daniels' personal experiences about childhood and education, enrolling in North Texas rather than Texas Southern University, majoring in pre-med, serving in the United States Air Force, studying at Southwestern Medical School, and pursuing medical research. Additionally, Daniels speaks about his difficulties with white professors and graduate assistants, race relations on campus, social life among black students on campus, and off-campus life in "Shack Town" and the support from black citizens of Denton.

Interview with longtime Denton residents Frank and Betty Ann Barrow for the Denton County Historical Commission. The interview includes Frank's personal experiences about his childhood and moving to Denton, having a career as a radio announcer, serving in the Special Services division of the Army Air Forces, having a career as an automobile dealer, insurance agent, and haberdasher in Denton, working with a Methodist church, being involved in the Denton Community Theatre, serving on the Denton City Council, and his political career as mayor of Denton. It also includes Betty Ann's family history and how they coped with the Great Depression, information on her education at North Texas State College, and her personal experiences about marriage, the death of her husband in a flying accident, widowhood, her marriage to Frank Barrow, her clothing business, and working to liberalize Denton race relations. The interview includes an appendix with photographs, a photograph legend, a letter sent out to family members, a pamphlet for The Barrow Society, and an editorial piece about Frank Barrow.
