On the right-hand wall hangs a World War I Red Cross poster that says, Have You Answered the Red Cross Christmas Roll Call? Postcard includes photograph of the residence of Dr. Bruce, President of North Texas state Normal College in Denton, Texas, from 1906-1923. According to "Down the Corridor of Years: A Centennial History of the University of North Texas in Photographs," the President's Home was constructed in 1909 and razed in 1958. (p50)
