A letter and envelope from Harry Pickup of the University Avenue Church of Christ in Gainesville, Florida to Blanche Perry dated September 11, 1941. The letter confirms receipt of the baptistry painting with a few details of the installation and thanks Perry for her work.

A handwritten note addressed to Miss Helen Aten from John Hofnagle says "Dear Moptop- I had a swell ride on a sight-seeing boat on Sunday 3 1/2 hrs 43 min. I'm leaving Miami soon. John."

Handwritten letter from Betrice Kirkland to Charles Stasny thanking him for the letter he sent her following Theodore Kirkland's, her brother, death in the war and reminisces on memories she had with him. She encloses a copy of the chaplain's letter and mentions that her brother, Theus Kirkland, will be returning to service soon either to the Islands or pilots' training in California.

The following document contains two reports providing results from reconnaissance missions in Florida. These missions tested the radioactivity in Florida sands and the radioactivity in phosphates and rocks found in Florida.

"The results obtained from an evaluation for gust and draft velocities of acceleration and airspeed-altitude records taken by NACA recording instruments installed in P-61c airplanes participating in thunderstorm flights 6, 7, and 8 of July 9, 1946, July 10, 1946, and July 11, 1946, respectively, are presented herein. These data are summarized in tables I and II. In accordance with a recent discussion with a member of the U.S. Weather Bureau staff, the tabulated results for the present flight include in addition to data of the type presented in reference 1, the initial heading of the airplane for each traverse, the pressure altitude at the start of each traverse in increments of 500 feet, and the gust gradient distance when it could be evaluated" (p. 1).
