Patent for a combination tool for manipulating wire, "a convenient hand-tool for bending, straightening, shortening, and otherwise manipulating the wires ordinarily used in the construction of fences," (lines 10-14).

Patent for a new and improved coupling for railroad cars. This design "is to provide means for setting and supporting the pin and link of the ordinary car-coupler, so that cars will be automatically coupled when brought together; and it consists in a frame or holder for the coupling-pin and a frame or holder for the coupling-link" (lines 11-17).

Patent for a new and improved churn-power. This design "relates particularly to a vertical single-dasher reciprocating churn, and has for its object to provide a churn-power of the character that shall be simple and durable in construction, one that will give a maximum length of stroke, and one that will always keep the dasher elevated when not in operation" (lines 7-14).

Patent for a new and improved coupling for railroad cars. This design consists in "a draw-head provided with a recess having an enlargement at its central portion, a series of vertical jaws on each side of said enlarged portion of the recess pivotally mounted at their lower end in the draw-head, springs connecting each jaw with its corresponding jaw in the opposite series, and means for opening the jaws" (lines 13-20).

Patent for a new and improved coupling for railroad-cars. This design "relates to car-couplings; and it has for its object to provide improved devices whereby the cars may be automatically coupled; and further, to provide improved devices for this purpose which shall be simple in construction and thoroughly effective in operation" (10-16).

Patent for a new and improved baling box. This design consists "[i]n a baling-box, the bottom board having cleats and end board and fixed standards that reach above the end board in combination with the hinged side boards and end board hinged to [another] board, [those] boards being provided with cleats that reach beyond the edges of the boards to receive the loops" (lines 87-94).

Patent for insect traps, specifically for concentrating capture and extermination via placement over an ant hill.

Patent for buggy shaft braces for connecting the shaft and cross bar of a vehicle, in order to eliminate malfunction of cross bar.

Patent for improvements in apparatus to combined filler and packer for association with cotton press or baling and operations to receive lint cotton.

Patent for improved cabinet bed construction features, which include allow access to mirror on either side.

Patent for an apparatus to form bats, made of fibrous material, to be placed in the coverings or tickings to make mattresses. The apparatus works so that "the bat-forming fibrous material may be evenly distributed, and by which the mattress-forming operation may be expeditiously carried on" (lines 16-19). The patent includes illustrations.

Patent for a cigar clipper that enables the clipper to fold compactly along the edge of the cigar box when not in use.

Patent for the air-pipe coupling. This invention relates to improvements in couplers for air other liquid pipes. The improvement is primarily designed for connecting the fluid pipes of an air brake system between the locomotive and coaches of railway trains.

Patent for an adjustable corn harvester which both removes ears of various sizes from the stalks and cuts the ears into smaller pieces to make them easier to process; includes illustrations.

Patent for an automobile attachment designed to utilize the power produced by motorized engines for various farming implements.

Patent for a vehicle jack improvements that includes "a lifting-arm or support having a flexible winding element" (lines 15-16).

Patent for a compound called “Tape-Worm Medicine” that is used to “remove tape-worms from the human body speedily and effectually; and it consists in a composition formed from the fibrils of the roots of the pomegranate mixed with water” (lines 9-13).

Patent for a lever-power which applies "the power and resistance to the lever, so that they will change positions with relation to the fulcrum as the power end of the lever descends" (para. 2). The relation of the lever with the fulcrum is flexible, and allows for increased leverage.

Patent for a new and useful improvement in fences, including instructions and illustrations.

Patent for a new and improved steam-engine. This design "relates to certain improvements in compound steam-engines; and it has for its objects to lessen friction and provide for the effective working of such engines" (lines 8-11).

Patent for a process of electro-static separation which is the improvement and consists in establishing three different types of electro-static fields upon a single conveying or electrical surface, shifting these fields across the line of normal movement.

Patent for propelling mechanism for bicycles that allows any type of bicycle frame to have an improved and inexpensive added high speed mechanism, including illustrations.

Patent for "to utilize a heretofore waste product, and by means of a dry process to reduce the same to fine particles, which, being capable of felting, constitute stock" (lines 14-18).

Patent for a new and improved trace-carrier. This design "is to provide the trace-carrier with a locking-brace, which is held in a closed position by the chain, which prevents all possibility of the chain from becoming detached from the carrier while in use" (lines 16-20). To this end, it consists, "with the body having a strap-fastener and an outwardly and upwardly extending hook, of a locking-plate, which is hinged at its upper end to the upper portion of the body, and its lower end provided with an inner perforated projection through which the said hook passes, and a shorter projection" (lines 78-85).
