Attendants said Miss Wade probably suffered internal injuries as well as profound shock as the result of the crash. The car she was driving careened off the rear fender of the car in the front as she attempted to avoid a serious crash in a quick stop. As Miss Wade's car swerved into the oncoming line of traffic she was hit broadside by a car driven by Robert Lett, Moore druggist. Lett was cut and bruised in the crash and received burns from some bottles of acid he was carrying in his car. He was also in the Norman hospital Thursday night. Earl Riley, 21, Sulphur, who was driving the car just in front of Miss Wade, received only minor injuries."

Leighton, Nicholas Hills deputy marshal, doesn't think so. Especially when his police car (right), is involved. Leighton was returning to Nicholas Hills after delivering a prisoner at the county jail Monday afternoon when the car at the left rolled out into the street from a private driveway in the 3200 block N Shartel. Leighton's car smacked into the car's right rear fender. Oklahoma photographer Casey Petrauskas arrived on the scene and snapped his pictures. Leighton didn't like it and threatened to sue if the picture was printed. And Casey got a personal warning. " You'll regret it," he quoted the officer. The car on the left is owned by Mrs. Kelsie Miller, 724 W Hill. No charges were filed."
