HRT PROCESS FLOWSHEETS (REVISION IV) (open access)

HRT PROCESS FLOWSHEETS (REVISION IV)

The first four process flowsheets were drawn to show the division between the high and low pressure fuel and blanket systems. This necessitated the repetition of certain equipment which fell at the dividing points, such as the letdown heat exchangers, the feed pumps, etc. They were also designed to make it possible to cut the sheets and join them to make one large flowsheet without repetition of equipment or lines. In general the flowsheet line numbers on the fuel side are a 100 series and the corresponding lines on the blanket side are in a 200 series; i.e., lines 102 and 202 will have the same function in their respective systems.
