Photograph of Cpl Polo Castillo (1st Motor Transport Battalion, 1st Marine Division) in a Jeep en route in a convoy to Da Nang, Vietnam. Castillo was stationed at Gia Le Combat Base. The back of the photograph reads," My Darling Wife, Yolanda. This was taken a few hours before we left on the convoy to Da Nang. At that time, that jeep I drive didn't have a windshield or a top. The last few hours at Gia Le. What'cha think of my little groovey hat. Ha! Love Ya Forever, Your Loving Husband, Paul Castillo. Gia Le, RVN September 1968."
