Includes, in addition to the Instruction (26 p.), the Comite- Bericht des Vereines zum Schutze deutscher Einwanderer in Texas (47 p.), 6 maps and two broadsides. Six maps on 3 folded leaves have been removed from this book and are housed in the Special Collections Map Room in Drawers 77/13 and 27/8 with the numbers: 310104, 310105, and 310106.

Oral History Interview with Clarabelle Barton Snodgrass, August 25, 1999
Interview with Clarabelle Barton Snodgrass, vice-chair of the Kerr County Historical Commission from Kerrville, Texas. Mrs. Snodgrass talks about growing up on a primitive ranch, struggling to survive during the Depression, meeting and marrying her husband, their family, their involvement with music, and her efforts to preserve the history of Kerr County. She also briefly discusses the honors and awards her volunteer work has earned her. Pages 2-13 include a written statement by Miles Abernathy Lowrence, Clarabelle's maternal great-uncle.

Oral History Interview with George Allen Holekamp, September 27, 2000
Interview with George Allen Holekamp, a rancher and descendant of Kerr County settlers from Kerrville, Texas. Mr. Holekamp details his family's history in Kerr County. He mentions that his ancestors included farmers, ranchers, and shingle-makers. He and his wife Mary Virginia Stevens are still involved in ranching and community activities, and their legacy continues on with their children. In his stories of ranching, he discusses ranchers' struggles with screwworm infestations and Brucellosis (Bang's Disease), the Bracero program, the Rural Electrification Association, and the Sheep and Goats Raisers Auxiliary.
