On display, a Jane Ventura evening ensemble of brown French organza and fake fur fabric with striped chinchilla feathers consisting of a sleeveless dress and matching feather cape, which the designer wore to the Pre-Opening Ball for the opening of the DFW Airport in 1973; and a Jane Ventura man’s formal dinner jacket of brown pheasant feathers with a brown satin lapel; fully lined in brown silk. Jane tailored this jacket for her husband, Sam Ventura, to match one of her own ensembles, which they wore to the Opera Ball in 1968.
