Photograph used for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "Using clouds for a sunshine but with never a thought of that rare element of rain, 84,124 persons tramped over the new Oklahoma State Fair Sunday to set a gigantic new record for Sunday attendence, the second attendence mark in as many days. There were 66,764 on Sunday last year at the old grounds for the former record. Perhaps there has been too much advertising for the word "Tenth and May" because it seemed like most auto drivers hit the intersection Sunday and the rest of them used May avenue from the south, backing up traffic as far as SW 29. (Photo tag: Crowds swarmed over the new fairgrounds Sunday to set the second conecutive attendance record. Even the new grandstand overflowed. There were 84,124 gay sightseers from many parts of the state milling over the grounds."
