Photograph of Belle Ryon Davis. In the bust portrait, Davis is wearing a dark dress with shirring on right shoulder and intricate beadwork on the left shoulder. Buttons run down the front of the dress beginning just below the high necked collar. Where the collar splits into a short "v", a half-moon shaped (diamond?) stick pin is attached. A chain is slightly visible from fifth button. Davis has curled hair at forehead and around temples with the rest pulled back into a bun. The photograph is mounted on a tan cardboard substrate.
