This work is comprised of 3 movements inspired by one of Verne's novels and was created as part of the open work project for the Synthèse Festival. The composer wrote this piece to explore Verne's fascination with the speed of means of communication.

During a sleepless night, the composer read a variety of chapters from Verne's books and began playing basses, guitars, and their laptop. These improvisations created the framework of the finished piece.
