Caption: "Hoisting Carillon Bells is a long hard job but that part of the work has been completed at Westminister Presbyterian church, 4400 N Shartel. Final installation of the 35-bell gift carillon is expected to be finished this week. The bells weigh from 20 to 1,200 pounds and it took a crew of eight workmen a total of four hours each to hoist the big ones. The crew works under the direction of Jan Van Der Vier Dank, exprerienced Dutch bell installer. Above, Alfred Stiles, on the ground, guides the bell as it is hoisted upward. In the belfry window is Gilbert Palmer, crew foreman."
