Caption: "Yes, it was a little wet out in the vicinity of Laverne Wednesday as the North Canadian jumped its banks and swirled over a broad area of farm land. Fortunately, most of the low lands which were inundated had a few houses and farm buildings. However, this farm home north of Laverne caught full fury of the flooding waters. The Laverne vicinity was hardest hit by the flood which was due to crest near Woodward early Thursday, more than four feet above flood stage. No lives were lost."
