[Barnes Brothers Grocery Store]

Photograph of a brick grocery store with the name "Barnes Bros." A line of seven men stand on the extended porch of the storefront. Their names from left to right are unknown, PK Rude, Elton Barnes, Jim Barnes, Jim's father, Max Lewis, Morris Lewis, Mr. Barnes. The store is on the 900 block of 3rd street.

Postcard image of the George Ranch House northwest approach. The house is white wooden and two story. The bottom porch of the house has brick columns, while the top porch has white, round columns and both have white wooden railing. Three of the four brick chimneys are visible in this photo. The cistern house on the right side of the photograph is unpainted at this period. The windmill is partially visible between the limbs of the huge oak tree on far right. The house is surrounded by a picket fence which in turn is partially enclosed by a wire fence for foul. On the George house, note that both porches are open and no driveway has been formed in front.

There is a rocking chair on the bottom porch. Two oak trees partially obscure view of the front of house. The cistern house, to the left of the main house, is not painted and has no weather vane on top during this period. The top of a windmill is seen between the cistern house and the main house. A white picket fence is in front of the house and a wire fence for foul encloses the picket fence. Inside of the wire fence on right and to the left of the wooden gate are several wooden boxes (coops ?). There is no driveway leading to front. Stamped on back of photo in black: "316".
