Handbag for afternoon or evening use. Frame of simulated tortoiseshell, carved and with openwork, with ball/snap closure and chain. Body of bag is of beige fabric with multi-colored petit-point embroidery of a bouquet of flowers. Floral motif on bag in grey, greens, blues, pinks and rose. Lined in rose ribbed silk, and contains a change purse and mirror. French or English in origin.

Photograph of the Bancroft Shingle Mill Crew. There are twenty-seven men, all standing except seven who are seated. One row of men are standing on the ground and the other row is on a platform behind them. The men are wearing button-up shirts, some are wearing vests, suspenders or jackets and all except one are wearing hats. In the foreground are wooden beams and bits of wood. Written on or above some of the men are the numbers 1 through 10.

Davis, who is wearing small wire-rimmed glasses, is dressed in a long sleeved dress with sleeves that puff near the shoulder. Lace of a darker color is seen from shoulder and down side and again at sleeves. The dark color is repeated in two strips on high collar. Her dark hat has dark tulle, ribbon, and flowers with lighter colored flowers to the right. The child is wearing a long white gown with crocheted cap. The back of the photograph bears evidence that it may have been glued into a frame or an album.

Belter Victorian settee with old rose upholstery. The back has two large, round upholstered sections (one on either end) and a lower center piece with some upholstery and decorative latticework. The wooden frame has several carved decorations on the arms, legs, and other segments.
