The truck had been assigned to rescue and salvage work at a house fire at 615 NE 7, where damage was held to $125, according to the fire department. The driver of the car was identified as Larry R. Richards, 31, of 631 S Dewey. He was charged with failure to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle."
