Wrapper or Mother Hubbard gown of cotton muslin printed in blue paisley pattern. Watteau pleats down center back; collared. Long sleeves are gathered at the wrist and have a 5" ruffle at the shoulder. Full length with pleat at hem. Two rows of gold and white braid on yoke. Ties at sides form half belt in back. Center front button closure. Also known as a Texas Prairie Gown. Stamped label at center back neckline: "The / Ideal / Wrapper / Manufactured by / Ideal Mfg.
