The company is powered by five major generating stations and eight auxilary plants with a combined capacity of about 256,000 kilowatts. These plants all are interconnected bu a transmission system of nearly 3,000 circuit miles. Also, interconnections are maintatained with neighboring electric utilitirs and state and fedral owned hydro-electric plants..During 1948, the OG&E pay roll and employees benefits totaled almost $5 millions.
