The infant, Ray Charles Houston, died about 6 a.m. Friday after the child, the parents, and three brothers and sisters were released from Mercy hospital following treatment. The mother, Antinette Bethany, 26, called Rolfe Funeral Home, when she found her baby dead, funeral home officials told police. Mercy Hospital officials said the child was released after X-rays failed to show any broken bones. Autopsy Sought The child was brough in for emergency treatment and released after doctors could find no reason for admitting him to the hospital, they siad. County Attorney James Harrod said his office will not request an autopsy. However, police officers were attempting to learn whether the family might insist on the post mortem. Six injured Police said no evidence has been found to indicate any foul play. officer Don Ming said the mother found found the child under debris after the explosion. Ming said the child had abrasions on the back and face and bruises on the stomach All six members of the family were injured when their home …
