Oklahoma Boomers

Photograph of Boomers using the first bridge across the North Canadian River from Oklahoma City to Capitol Hill with the caption, "Oklahoma Boomers adrift on the Canadian River" in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Territory. People used to cross the river on this drift when the first residents came to Oklahoma Station just below the Santa Fe Railroad on the river, c. 1887-1888.
