Argo used a remote camera two feet from the tree, with the shutter snapped by remoted control from some distance away so he could steer clear of picture. The camera had a "fisheye" lens to take 180-degree pictures."

Caption: "Concrete quilt covering the fairgrounds arena goes together piece by piece with the unusual roof structure expected to be completed by mid-January. Walter Nashert and Sons Construction Co. said 760 of the roof's 968 pieces have been slung on cables stretched across the arena. The concrete slabs, 10 by 10 feet square, wiegh more than 3,800 pounds each. When all are in place, the cables will be stretched and grout placed between the panels. Then another stretching process will be followed by a "setting" period while the grout hardens and seals the slabs together."
