Photograph used for a story in the Daily Oklahoman newspaper. Caption: "Don't let that Salvador Dali painting frighten you, allen. Bigger men than you have been startled by the Spanish artist's brush interpretations. This picture, valued at only $1,800 (some of his are $25,000), is 'materpiece of the month" at the Art Center, fifth floor, Municipal auditorium. Mrs. Nan Sheeta, director, has given art patrons an extra treat by placing the picture in the gallery with a group of nineteenth century French landscapes (two by Corot), on loan by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This is the first time a Dali painting ever has been shown in Oklahoma City. It is titled: "Book Transforming Itself." Brilliant blues, vapor greens, salmon pink and dark browns are predominant. Allen is the 5-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Max Horwitz, 3434 NW 16. Dali, 44, is in New York from Spain."
