Caption: "No tornado or hurricane hit this church, but fire proved as destructive to the Tabernacle Baptist cgurch, 515 NE 3, early Friday morning. Firemen used 13 pieces of equipment to battle the blaze. It took three hours to control the fire. Loss to one of the largest Negro Baptist churches in the state was estimated at from $50,000 to $150,000. Orgin of the fire is not known."
