Steele was the object missing persons report given police shortly before the body was found by a fisherman on the lake's west shore. Police said steele, dead about 24 hours prior to discovery, apparently drowned when his boat motor snarled in moss and he toppled overboard striking his head. Dr. Harry Cooper, medical examiner, said the vicitim had a throat operation, which left a bandage but open air passage to his lungs."
