Walter Nashert and Sons Construction Co. said 760 of the roof's 968 pieces have been slung on cables stretched across the arena. The concrete slabs, 10 by 10 feet square, wiegh more than 3,800 pounds each. When all are in place, the cables will be stretched and grout placed between the panels. Then another stretching process will be followed by a "setting" period while the grout hardens and seals the slabs together."
