Photograph used for a story in the Oklahoma City Times newspaper. Caption: "All of you 50,000 who are stock-holders in Judy, the elephant at Lincoln Park zoo, can relax - she's being well taken care of this winter. A big blower type gas stove has been newly installed in her neat little house at the end of her pen. With all of the thermostats and connections on it, it's probably far superior to the heater in the average American home. Remember the Oklahoma Times campaign, sided by other groups, "buddy, can you spare a dime?" Judy was the result, and when all 1,000 pounds of here arrived, ehat a party was had for all. If you saw a sluggish polar bear lounge at Lincoln Park zoo, all four feet sucking striaght up, you should see him now that cold weather's see him now that cold weather's struck Oklahoma. he looks 10 years younger."

For some reason, the city's boating fraternity has taken to the big reservoir northwest of town much more avidly than it did to older Lake Overholser. The Oklahoma City Boat Club has built a large, brick clubhouse, and on almost any pleasent day when the wind is right you can see a nautical sight like this. For more sailing, see page 5."
