This piece showcases both the heavy weight of responsibility that falls on parents as well as the joy and support of family. The work has been segmented into 5 separate tracks.

Recording of Claude Hermitte's Au nom du père. This work was created as part of the open work project at the Synthése Bourges festival in 2003. It is meant to incapsulate the sounds that are heard from a newborns perspective. The voices of their father and mother and how these first sounds create the newborns first impressions of the parents.

Recording of Jacqueline Ozanne's Les destins d'une berceuse. This work includes vocals and spoken word with text from the French lullaby "Fais dodo". The composer has also included segments from Beethoven's 5th Symphony and melds together these two songs under the theme of "destiny".

Recording of Abril Padilla's Lugares de Antiguas vecindades. This work was commissioned by the City of Zaragoza, Spain, following the MAP residency of the association Nurseries of Young Artists of Europe. This piece reflects the sonic impressions that the city produced during the composer's residency between 2003 and 2004. The composer has created a stereo version as well as a quadraphonic version.

Recording of Philippe Moënne Loccoz's La mère, le matin etc.... This work was created as part of the Institute of Bourges on the theme: "Le Pére, La Mére". It includes sound materials from family interactions, primarily children.

Recording of Roxanne Turcotte's Mères et monde. In this work, the symbolism of the mother is linked to that of the sea and earth in the sense that they are both receptacles and matrices of life. The composer states that the idea behind this piece is a mother's triggering the cycle of life.

Recording of Tomonari Higaki's Le Piano - Les mélancholies de trois jeunes pianistes. This work includes quotes from the text "Les amants du Spoutnik" by Haruki Murakami. The composition is segmented into 5 movements that include 3 monologues of young people who stopped playing piano. These monologues reflect how demanding piano practice and performance is and how necessary is becomes to sacrifice everything as a pianist.

Recording of Catalina Peralta's De Psicopatia - Igitur. This work was commissioned by the Culture Ministry of Columbia and was created as part of the electroacoustic production for "PSICOPATIA-IGITUR...", a larger work in progress. This piece is divided into 6 mini-sections that are thought of as independent live parts and includes sound materials inspired by different concrete objects: human voice, birds, instrumentals, etc.

Recording of Jean-Michel Deliers' Qui à côté de moi aujourd'hui. The composer wrote this with the idea of "absence" or "to lack" in mind and was influenced by the writer, Samuel Beckett in which many of his works included those themes. The only sound source in this piece is the human voice.

This piece is inspired by our present cosmopolitan, informative, and communicative life environment. The tape version is made from several life recordings.

This study of the graphic field in notes on space, undated (log 3) focuses on how the white emptiness of a page plays a structural role in the articulation of dissociated fragments of notes. According to the criteria of three theorists (Genette, Lapacherie, Baetens), the distinction between non-linear and tabular proves to be non-exclusive in this particular work. Ostensibly, this non-figurative writing instigates interactive contemplation and lends itself to multiple entries, like an object one contemplates from every possible visual perspective without ever constructing a representation or image. The poetic form that du Bouchet explores renders perceptible the latent materiality of all text.
