Postcard image of the Mission San Jose in San Antonio, Texas. The mission is a stone structure with a bell tower on the north west corner of the building. The north entrance of the mission has ornate three dimensional figures on the side and top of doorway. Small wooden structure on west side of building. White picket fence on north side. Wooden fence on southwest side. Written at bottom of postcard: "Jacobson Photo. 7(?) Mission San Jose`. 2nd Mission. 2 E. Houston Str San Antonio." The image is mounted on a black cardboard substrate. Black text on back of the postcard is titled: "Picturesque San Antonio. Published by M. E. Jacobson No. 2 E. Houston, St., San Antonio, Texas." The text continues to discuss the missions of San Antonio including the most important "The Alamo".
