Data management plan for the grant "Feasibility and initial efficacy of a wheelchair exercise-training intervention for persons with multiple sclerosis." The proposed study will examine the feasibility and initial efficacy of a stakeholder-informed, home-based, remotely supported and supervised exercise training program for wheelchair users with multiple sclerosis (MS). The proposed exercise training program was iteratively developed in partnership with community members using semi-structured interviews, a community advisory board, and focus group feedback wherein community members provided insights to develop and refine an exercise training program that suit the needs and preferences of wheelchair users with MS. Ultimately, the proposed study extends this line of research and may initiate a significant paradigm shift in rehabilitation research and practice by providing a critically needed home-based exercise training program for enhancing health, quality of life, participation, and independence of wheelchair user with MS.

This article investigates the impact of nutrient intake on hydration biomarkers in cyclists before and after a 161 km ride, including one hour after a 650 mL water bolus consumed post-ride. Most predictor groups showed significant association with at least one hydration biomarker: (1) Glycemic Load + Carbohydrates + Sodium, (2) Protein + Fat + Zinc, (3) Magnesium + Calcium, (4) Pinitol, (5) Caffeine, (6) Fiber + Betaine, and (7) Water; potassium + three polyols, and mannitol + sorbitol showed no significant associations with any hydration biomarker. The authors conclude that in a real-life scenario, some nutrients may serve as mediators of body water, and urine-specific hydration biomarkers may be more responsive to nutrient intake than measures derived from plasma or body mass.

Initial responses focused on community lockdown procedures, sustaining education, adapting to a remote lifestyle and political tension. The authors revisited included tweets one week later to measure their connectedness, which revealed that educational organizations, which have the largest number of followers, also have the greatest outreach and visibility. The book focuses on the expansion of higher education in Taiwan as it relates to the improved participation of women in STEM tertiary education and in the STEM labor market. It focuses on the persistence of gender inequality in undergraduate engineering education in Germany by analyzing individual factors that contribute to women’s tendency to consider but then opt out of engineering. The book describes several challenges to gender-based equity in STEM in a post-Soviet context and offer multiple policy suggestions for improvement.

This article investigates the organizational impact of computer technology on four secondary science teachers’ teaching actions using the construct of community of practice. Analysis of data reveals three social participation structures that collectively orchestrated students’ science content learning: (1) students’ membership, (2) access to the structured tasks, and (3) confirmation of students’ learning of science concepts.
