Neal Smatresk, president of the University of North Texas, gives a speech congratulating the graduates and acknowledging the academic accomplishments of the students. Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences Steve Cobb introduces the graduates. The keynote speaker is Emily Clement of the Alumni Association. The ceremony concludes with Rebecca Mugnolo singing the UNT alma mater and the graduates leaving the coliseum.

The ceremony began with an organ musical performance by Destin Wernicke, followed by the processional of graduates and introductory remarks by James W. Richmond (dean of the College of Music). The National Anthem was performed by Hawkins Burns and Jimin Seo. Michael McPherson (provost and vice president for student affairs) then spoke briefly. The keynote speaker was Daniel Sher. After that, there was a musical performance by the Quasar Trombone Quartet (composed of Connor Altagen, Connor Fallon, Kyle Husby, and Joseph Polanco). The ceremony concluded with additional remarks by Daniel Suda of the UNT Alumni Association and the recessional of graduates.

The ceremony was aired virtually on Saturday, December 12 at 12 p.m. The in-person commencement ceremony for the College of Music was held at Apogee Stadium on Sunday, November 22. The ceremony includes opening and closing remarks by the Dean of the College of Music Dr. John W. Richmond and a performance by 2021 graduates Brittney Bush and Adrianne Andrews and doctoral student Dongni Xie. Graduates of the Bachelor's program are recognized with their names shown on-screen individually in the order of degree earned.

Article all-aluminum microchannel heat exchangers have recently gained popularity in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry. Despite their attractive thermal performance design, these heat exchangers make coils used in automotive, commercial, and residential applications prone to crevice corrosion. This study uses high-fidelity conjugate heat transfer simulations to model a micro channel heat exchanger system that includes fins and tubes with crossflow to compare their thermal effectiveness to gain insight into potential crevice corrosion of the MCHE alloy.

This chapter explores gender disparities in enrollment and persistence in STEM undergraduate education in England. The authors examine the difference in early educational achievement in mathematics and science subjects and students’ plan to study STEM subjects by gender. They also examine women’s odds of studying STEM subjects in England after controlling for academic performance and social class characteristics. The authors also particularly test gendered differences in studying STEM at prestigious Russell Group universities. Finally, the authors highlight factors that policy makers, researchers, instructors, and STEM workforce members should consider to close gender gaps in STEM undergraduate education.

In this chapter, the authors offer suggestions for how policymakers and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) educators may apply unique but potentially transferrable strategies. Finally, the authors suggest directions for innovative research and policy for pursuing gender equity in STEM fields after the economic and educational turmoil caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Article suggests that common standards for recording, detection, and reporting for intracranial recordings in humans that suggest their role in episodic and semantic memory does not exist. Authors of the article outline the methodological challenges involved in detecting ripple events and offer practical recommendations to improve separation from other high-frequency oscillations, and argue that shared experimental, detection, and reporting standards will provide a solid foundation for future translational discovery.
