St. Louis and San Francisco Railway's oldest name train "The Meteor" operating between Chicago, St. Louis, Springfield, Sapulpa, Denison, Sherman, Fort Worth and Dallas - a rail distance of 976 miles. This famous train made its first run on March 17, 1902. Even in this early era "The Meteor" was one of the nation's de Lux long-distance passenger trains. Its dining car service was comparable to that on the Santa Fe, being under the supervision of Fred Harvey.

On the sides of the postcard is the text, "Valentine Greetings" and in the middle of the postcard is the text, "I'll - be - yours, If - you'll - be mine, You are my pleasing Valentine." The correspondence on the back of the postcard reads, "Hello! Baby how are you? Ammous got your card and it sure is pretty. Did you go to kinder garden by yourself? You must be a mighty big old girl. 'Will you be my valentine?' Say yes. 'Amnous'." The postcard is addressed to Miss Rosa Louise Dill, 517 High St, Oklahoma City, Okla. It is postmarked Paris, Texas on Feb 12, 1910.

Photographic postcard of Fifth Street in Orange, Texas. Horse-drawn carriages are parked on the both sides of the street. A barber shop is on the far left with a city market next-door to it. Awnings cover the sidewalk in front of the businesses. Correspondence on the back of the card reads, "will send this today will rite a letter Sunday got your letter the other day and all so the papers am [ ] I am feeling fine and awfully lazy don't now what I [ ] maybe next I can find something to do all the time. Carrie." It is addressed to Mrs. Daniel Bly in Carterville, Mo. It is postmarked Orange, Tex on Feb 4, 1910.
