Production division progress report, May 1--31, 1948
A long term study on the possible effect of time on the micro-assay purity of postum product solutions is reported. It was determined that within the time periods studied (up to 102 days) time has no discernible effect on the mass purity of the postum electrodeposited from product solutions.

Sheet rod tests
The overall testing of the vertical sheet rod system is a comprehensive program which has been divided into several phases. These phases are presented here, with a short resume of the testing required under each phase, to enable the formulation of the project proposal for the complete test program. It is intended that very detailed test requests will be issued for the separate phases as data from previous tests and further design studies indicate the exact information or data desired from a particular test.

Graphite contaminant tests for DR&H piles (C-206A, HW24, C-165A, HW24)
This report outlines plans for tests of the graphite stack during lay up in the pile structures. Measurements are planned upon completion of layers 20, 60, and 102, which will require not more than 16 hours each. The test method will require restriction of Construction personnel from the areas immediately adjacent to the pile. Precise boundaries will be set up in collaboration with H I Division personnel prior to the test.
