Photograph is of a wooden dormitory building that has flames and smoke quickly rising from the roof. Flames are shooting out the window openings many feet high. Photograph was taken int he day time. Caption: "Going up in smoke is the main building of the historical Indian Boarding School for Girls at Eufaula. Fire gutted the 70 year old structure about noon Friday. Mrs. Toru Herndon, school Superintendent, said damage will amount to several thousand dollars. Also destroyed in the fire were Christmas gifts for the 665 girls of the school."

Photograph of the remains of a corner hotel on a main street. The remains of the brick structural pillars and the foundation are all that is really identifiable among the remaining rubble. Photograph was taken in the day time. Caption: "Little remains of the landmark Tully Building in Eufaula, destroyed in an early morning blaze Thursday. A hotel, the police department, mayor's office, Chamber of Commerce, supermarket and TV repair service all were lost. Hugh Marshall, 55, of Canadian, was charged with arson in the $500,000 fire."
