Caption: "Going up in smoke is the main building of the historical Indian Boarding School for Girls at Eufaula. Fire gutted the 70 year old structure about noon Friday. Mrs. Toru Herndon, school Superintendent, said damage will amount to several thousand dollars. Also destroyed in the fire were Christmas gifts for the 665 girls of the school."
