A letter written to Judge John McClellan Marshall to express gratitude for his May 1988 ruling in favor of the Dallas Gay Alliance against Parkland Hospital.

A handwritten letter written in response to William Waybourn, who had previously written to Judge Marshall to express gratitude for Marshall's May 1988 ruling in favor of the Dallas Gay Alliance against Parkland Hospital. Marshall states that he was moved by Waybourn's letter and sees Waybourn's response as proof that a judge's decisions "really do have an impact on our times."
