Interview with Stephanie Reinke, Andrea Tuckness, and Jordan Williams for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) podcast. Susan is joined by three staff members of UNT's Lifelong Learning & Community Engagement department who are responsible for overseeing the program: Director Stephanie Reinke, Assistant Director Andrea Tuckness, and Communications Specialist Jordan Williams. Together, they explain the program in detail, including all of the available membership options, how registration and enrollment works, and all of the programming and benefits that members can enjoy. They even share some behind-the-scenes insights into how a small staff and many dedicated volunteers collaborate to create such a dynamic program.

Interview with Dr. Bert Hayslip for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) podcast. In this episode, Susan interviews Dr. Bert Hayslip, Regents Professor Emeritus in UNT’s Psychology Department. Dr. Hayslip explains how an experience he had in a nursing home as a child motivated him to pursue a career working with older adults. He discusses with Susan some of the influences on memory and the ways in which we understand memory in later life. Dr. Hayslip explains why he dislikes the term “senior moment” and why he is a proponent of learning new skills to improve memory as we age.

Oral history interview with Mike Grossman. Topics covered include: Grossman's early life in Minneapolis, his failed marriage to a woman, his long term relationship with his late partner George and his coming out as gay, his involvement with fundraisers for services to support the gay and lesbian community in Dallas, his friendship with Lory Masters, and his work with The Dallas Way and EDUCARE.

The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Elaine Osborn. Osborn was born in 1932 in Freeman, South Dakota and had just turned 9 years old when World War II began. She shares memories of civilian life during the war, and living in a Mennonite Community during the Great Depression. She had 5 uncles and 2 cousins in the service. Osborn recalls community building between farmers to help feed and care for one another. Additionally, she notes that her Japanese American college roommate was encamped in California during the war. Osborn provides vivid descriptions of the sacrifices made by the civilians to support the men and women serving their country.
