Patent for "an improved plow of simple and inexpensive construction employing two shovels so arranged and attached that either one may be quickly and easily removed to convert the plow into either a right or left hand plow, and has for its further object to provide a plow especially designed for opening new ground wherein the plowing is rendered difficult by the presence of roots and similar growth" (lines 9-18).

Patent for a cattle-yolk that stops the animals from jumping or breaking through fences. The yolk "will bind upon him, thus effectually stopping the animal from any further effort" (lines 12-15) if it tries to jump or break through a fence.

Patent for an improved grate-bar that has a "semicylindrical journal rounded below, and its upper surface forming part of the grate-surface, with draft-spaces between the cross-walls forming the bearing portions, in combination with a supporting bar matching with said cross-walls and open under said draft-spaces, substantially as described" (lines 13-19). It is meant to sift ashes.

Patent for a simple and inexpensive fence-stay that "may be readily applied in a secure manner to horizontal fence-wires" (lines 12-13). The posts are sheets of metal, and metal T-shaped tongues hold the wires in place.
