The following report provides results and studies that were made in the Rawlins quadrangle, Wyoming with the purpose of identifying the granitic rocks having higher normal concentrations of uranium, as possible sources of large, low grade uranium ore.

This report follows the cooperative drilling project between the U.S. Energy Research and Development Administration (ERDA) and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) for the coring of granite in the Pedro Mountains of Carbon County, Wyoming.
