Minutes for November 30, 2006 Texas Daily Newspaper Association Board of Directors Meeting held at the Headliners Club in Austin, Texas. Those in attendance were, Jeremy Halbreich (by conference call), Charles Moser, Gary Borders, Larry Walker, Patrick Birmingham, Nelson Clyde IV (by conference call), Darrell Coleman, M. Olaf Frandsen, Belinda Gaudet, Buddy King (by conference call), Charles A. Spence, Doug Toney, Ken Whalen and Darla Thompson. President Jeremy Halbreich called the meeting to order and that the main purpose of the meeting was to review TDNA's financial activities for 2006 and adopt the operating budget for 2007.

Minutes for November 1, 2007 TDNA nomination committee conference call. The members in attendance of the meeting are, Charles Moser, chairman, Buddy King, John M. Roberts, Ray Stafford, Wesley R. Turner and Ken Whalen. Darla Thompson acting as secretary. The meeting was in regards to the nomination of TDNA members to serve on the Board of Directors.

A document detailing three new newspapers and two associate memberships that needed to be approved by the Texas Daily Newspaper Association board of directors. The motion to appove the newspaper members were read at a TDNA meeting on November 11, 2005.

The meeting was in regards to the nomination of TDNA members to serve on the Board of Directors.

A nomination form for the Pat Taggart Award for Newspaper Leader of the Year. Nominations must be received back by January 31, 2009.

The remaining document details that the award will be presented to four newspapers of separate circulation classes, and that a spreadsheet has been made with the newspaper companies and their circulation numbers.

Texas Daily Newspaper Associations' New Award Committee Conference Call for Friday, November 9, 2007 created the "TDNA Editorial Achievement Award." The purpose of the award is to recognize a publisher, owner or top executive who provided support and encouragement to the newsroom.
