The burnt debris is the metal silos and support structures of the now destroyed structure. photograph was taken int he day time. Caption: "Enid firemen Wednesday continued their efforts to extinguish a fire which ravaged a feed mill belonging to the W. B. Johnston Grain Co. Joe Meibergen, vice president in charge of the feed department, said Wednesday the mill was "just a total loss."

Photograph taken during daylight of gutted building after a fire. Caption: "Tortured Metal Wreckage gives mute evidence of the fury of a blaze sweeping Enid Foundry and Machine Shop Tuesday. The fire destroyed a one story wing of the sprawling plant and gutted the shop's 2 story section. Firemen narrowly prevented damage to the Johnson Elevator across the street. Gene Marritt, foundry owner, who estimated loss at $100,000-plus, said some of his 32 workers will return Wednesday for salvage and clean-up."
