Letter from Dr. Meyer Bodansky to Dr. J. F. Biehn, requesting an appointment during a meeting of the American Medical Association to speak with him about a research grant for a fellowship. Attached is a letter from Dorothy DeYoung explaining that Dr. Bodansky's original contact will not be in St. Louis for the meeting and referring Dr. Bodansky to Dr. Biehn for further work on the grant.

Letters between Dr. Meyer Bodansky and Dr. Herbert E. Hipps, dated June 2, 1939 and June 7, 1939. The earlier letter is from Dr. Hipps, who is from the Torbett Sanatorium and Diagnostic Clinic in Marlin, Texas. Dr. Hipps thanks Dr. Bodansky for a medical report that he sent to him. He also encloses a copy of a medical report of a patient who has been diagnosed with a controversial condition. The six-page report over a patient named Robert Wosnig includes periodic dated observations, various test results, and diagnosis. The letter from Dr. Bodansky acknowledges the receipt of the letter and report, and thanks Dr. Hipps for sending it.

Letters between Dr. Meyer Bodansky and Dr. J. E. Stowers, dated May 2, 1941 and May 10, 1941. The letters express appreciation on both ends concerning Dr. Bodansky's presentation at the Missouri State Medical Association Meeting.

Letters between Dr. Meyer Bodansky and James B. Hyndman, dated from May 16, 1940 to September 27, 1940. The letter that is dated May 16, 1940 is an invitation to Dr. Bodansky from Dr. Hyndman to be a guest speaker at the Texas Society of Medical Technologists annual Convention in October of the same year. The letters remaining discuss the details of the content of the lecture as well as the reimbursement of travel expenses. The last letter that is dated September 27, 1940 from Dr. Bodansky explains that he will not be able to attend the convention.

Correspondence between Dr. Lowell S. Selling and Dr. Meyer Bodansky concerning the whereabouts of a Mr. Hildebrand who was recommended for a position by Dr. Selling. Dr. Selling's letter apologizes for his recommendation of Mr. Hildebrand, who turned out to be a fraud.

Letter from Lurine Hightower to Dr. Meyer Bodansky, asking for him to write a review of a recently published textbook. Dr. Bodansky's reply graciously accepts the commission, but states that another doctor may be more appropriate as a conflict of interest may exist.

Letter from Dr. Meyer Bodansky to Miss M. Stouffer, Secretary to Dr. A. S. Giordano, containing a report on the work by the Committee on Chemical Research. Attached is Miss Stouffer's letter requesting a report on the committee's activities.

Letters between Dr. Meyer Bodansky and Dr. Paul D. Lamson, who is from Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics of the Medical School at the Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. The letters are dated from May 23, 1939 to July 27, 1939, and concern a research paper that Dr. Bodansky wrote for publication in the journal.

Letter from Dr. Meyer Bodansky to Dr. Herbert E. Hippe of the Torbett Clinic and Hospital, explaining the outcomes of a blood test requested in an attached letter by Miss Ruth Leggett. Dr. Bodansky gives suggestions for retesting of the patient associated and outlines the price associated with the testing. Miss Leggett's letter requests the blood test and includes a personal note from a previous meeting.

Letters between Dr. A. J. Goldforb, Oscar Bodansky, and Rose Framer on behalf of Dr. Meyer Bodansky. All of the letters concern Dr. Meyer Bodansky, who at the time was in the hospital recovering from a critical illness. The first letter is from Dr. Bodansky's brother Oscar Bodansky to Dr. A. J. Goldforb, and is dated June 12, 1941. The letter is a response to a previous letter received from Goldforb on behalf of Dr. Meyer Bodansky. The second letter is a handwritten invitation from Dr. Goldforb to Dr. Bodansky to accompany him and his daughter to New York City; it is dated June 7, 1941. The third letter, which is dated May 8, 1941, informs Dr. Bodansky that Dr. Goldforb and his daughter will be in Galveston soon and wish to meet with him. The last letter is from Rose Framer on behalf of Dr. Bodansky; it is dated May 15, 1941. The letter acknowledges the receipt of a previous letter that Dr. A. J. Goldforb sent to Dr. Bodansky.

Letters to and from the office of Dr. Meyer Bodansky. The first letter, which is dated May 13, 1944 from John J. Conboy and his mother, Marie Conboy, is split into two sections, one for each author. The first section urges Dr. Bodansky to consider examining the aftermath of John J. Conboy's mental elapse, physical break-down, and nervous exhaustion. The second section, which is from John's mother, emphasizes the request. The second letter is from Rose Framer on behalf of Dr. Bodansky. It states that the previous letter was received, however the doctor is ill so he will answer it as soon as possible. The third letter is from the Business Manager of the Physicians Postgraduate Press Leonard Kornfeld. The letter requests that Dr. Bodansky examine the sample journal that was sent with the letter and subscribe if he enjoys it.

Letter from the Secretary to the President of the University of Texas Thelma Lockwood. The letter, which was sent to Dr. Meyer Bodansky, is addressed to the teaching staff of the Medical Branch. It requests that the form at the bottom of the page be filled out and sent back to the Office of Dean Spies. Dr. Bodansky filled out his name and address on the form.

Letter and membership card sent by C. P. Lorans, who is the Secretary-Manager of the Southern Medical Association, to Dr. Meyer Bodansky. The letter expresses the association's gratitude for Dr. Bodansky's membership, and also discusses the association's upcoming meetings. The membership card reads, "This is to Certify that Dr. Meyer Bodansky, of Galveston, Texas, is a member of the Southern Medical Association, and that his dues have been paid from May 1939 to May 1940, 8-23-39 John Sealy Hospital".

Letter from Adrian F. Levy, Mayor of Galveston, to Dr. Meyer Bodansky congratulating him on receiving the award for outstanding work in the field of medical research from the Texas Pathological Society.

Letter from Allan T. Kenyon to Dr. Meyer Bodansky thanking him for a recent paper. He suggests several alterations and asks about the levels of several chemicals mentioned in the paper.

Letter to Eleanor Bodansky concerning a copyright contract negotiation that she is involved in. The letter is signed to be from a man named "Arthur".

Letter from B. C. H. Harvey, Dean of Medical Students at the University of Chicago, to Dr. Meyer Bodansky outlining necessary examinations to receive an M.D. degree. The letter also lists several classes that must be taken before being eligible for the exams.

Letter from Benjamin R. Harris to Dr. Bodansky discussing the reasons why organic material like straw would appear to spontaneously combust.
